Project Description and what I learned:
For the INNERnet connections project we were tasked to create hubs around the school that are used as a de-stressing area/tool. We collected data from the students and figured out what stresses them out and why. We took this data and then formed ideas on how to help solve the students problems. We were then put into groups based on an area we wanted to focus on. For example I noticed how people like to go outside when they need a break and so I was put into a gardening group. From there we were put into groups of 2 or 3 so we could actually create our own hub. We needed to come up with an idea and then bring it to life through a concept board and scale model. For the scale model I learned how to do surface area and volume because we needed to make the scale model exactly to scale with our predicted measurements. I worked with Anais and we created a dream version of a greenhouse garden.
